About Milk Research & Educational Group at NC State

April Fogleman is an Associate Professor of Nutrition at NC State University and the principal investigator of this lab group. The MILK Research and Education research team is made up of a wonderful and diverse group of people. We specialize in education and research related to maternal and infant nutrition. This is a lab group, but people often think of a “lab” as a scientific laboratory in which biochemistry work is performed. It is true that some of us are biochemists, but to some members of our lab group, the community is the lab and much of the research is done directly with people.
